Sept petits solos, créés par des chorégraphes différents, se réunissent en une seule pièce.
Les divers univers chorégraphiques, que le danseur traverse et qui le traversent, représentent les étapes initiatiques d’une quête d’identité par la rencontre de l’autre.
Seven short solos, created by different choreographers, come together in one piece.
The different choreographic worlds, which the dancer passes through and which pass through him, represent the initiatic stages of a search for identity by encountering the other.
« Ce jour-là, j’ai bien cru tenir quelque chose et que ma vie s’en trouverait changée. Mais rien de cette nature n’est définitivement acquis. Comme une eau vous traverse et pour un temps vous prête ses couleurs. Puis se retire, et vous replace devant ce vide qu’on porte en soi, devant cette espèce d’insuffisance centrale de l’âme qu’il faut bien apprendre à côtoyer, à combattre et qui, paradoxalement, est peut-être notre moteur le plus sûr. »

« Un homme vide est un spectacle passionnant parce qu’il allie métaphysique et humour. J-M Heim se saisit d’une quête existentielle presque dangereuse tant elle met l’être à nu. (…) L’artiste ici s’approche du feu, semble prêt à se laisser brûler un peu les ailes. Au moment des saluts, on jurerait voir une fine couche de suie sur son visage rayonnant… »
